Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading global FMCG, Operating across 3 main business units. They have a strong presence across the MEA region and are looking for a Supply Chain Projects Lead to be based in Dubai, UAE.

You will be responsible for:
- S&OP process audit & improvements & implement Regional S&OP for all SBUs.
- Follow up & monitor the slow mover action plan on a weekly / monthly basis to help reduce impact of slow movers.
- Support & lead APO roll out along with SC BPO & country SC’s.
- Analyze data & support in SCOUT implementation for IMEA, which would require comparing data from SAP, SCORE! & UTILISE.
- Support in SSC transformation projects.
- Regular SC audits of all operational Supply Chains, to ensure full compliance to Corporate Standards & Supply Chain Processes.
- Facilitate the implementation of Service Strategy & drive improvements generated through this across IMEA.
- Monitor sourcing change activities, safeguarding against any negative customer impacts & ensuring smooth phase-in, phase-out in collaboration with SBU, Purchasing, PD-TCS, Operations & Supply Chain.
- Monthly analysis of consignment stocks & follow up on the actions.
- Support lean initiatives & drive the Supply Chain-Lean roadmap on a monthly basis.
- Analyze the Demand Plans & Sales Forecasts & prepare monthly deviation reports to identify process improvements needed.
- Audits of Demand Review / Supply Reviews across IMEA.
- Regular SC audits of all operational Supply Chains, to ensure full compliance to Corporate Standards & Supply Chain Processes.
- Drive improvement actions coming out of audits & drive monthly actions to closure.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field is mandatory.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Thorough knowledge of key cost drivers.
- Able to manage Supply Chain improvement projects independently via the local Supply Chain team & ensure delivery on time & on cost and some prior project management experience is required.
- Leadership skills, Strong collaboration skills, across the business, at various levels of management and additionally ability to coach junior colleagues.
- English spoken & written skills are mandatory. Arabic is a plus, but not mandatory, Microsoft Office knowledge is a must, ERP knowledge mandatory, SAP is preferred and Presentation skills.
