We are now seeking an exceptional Sustainability Project Engineer to join our award winning team based within our Abu Dhabi Office.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include:
• Spearheading Advanced Energy Modelling Analysis of new and existing buildings.
• Working directly on design deliverables including technical reports and supporting calculations.
• Ensuring existing quality control, quality assurance, submittal protocols and document flow procedures are followed and successfully implemented.
• Full understanding of ASHRAE 90.1 & 62.1 modelling requirements implemented on actual models.
• Utilizing advanced energy and thermal modelling tools such as IES etc.
• Attending internal multidisciplinary coordination meetings and provide relevant design advice to other disciplines.
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and the client teams.
• Managing and facilitating delivery efforts to client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction during and after the delivery of a scope of work and deliverables, making any requested alterations in an established timeframe.

Requirements

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 2 years career experience partnered with a Bachelor or Master in Engineering or Architecture or Building Services Engineering or Energy.

Additionally the role requires:
• Knowledge of working on advanced computational modelling set-up, analysis and results interpretation.
• Working knowledge of the IES Virtual Environment Suite
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with Clients and Architects/Consultants.
• Knowledge of extracting information from AutoCAD (and preferably from BIM libraries.)
• Good personality and key co-worker skills.
• Ability to work independently is essential.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Candidates with any of the following skills and with working knowledge of will be given preference: (A) Modelling of existing building and existing HVAC modelling; (B) Working experience of ASHRAE Level 1, 2 & 3 Energy Audits; (C) Understanding of Real Assets Digital Twin Modelling; (D) Previous BIM Experience; (E) LEED EBOM
