Systems Administrator

Job description / Role

Our client a leading international company is currently looking for a system administrator to join their dynamic team. With expertise in wintel and virtualization this is a real opportunity to become part of a leading organisation.

Requirements

- Knowledge in Microsoft Infrastructure technologies.
- Extensive experience with messaging and cloud administration
- Expertise in Antivirus and Patch management.
- Experience using virtualization technologies, VMWare / Hyper V, VDI, Citrix Xenapp
- Demonstrated experience using Symantec Netbackup 7.5.
- In-depth understanding of production operations, server, storage, network, systems management, discrepancy report (DR), and Business recovery practices.
- Ability to configure TCP/IP, network interfaces and IP security.

The following skills are desired:
- Experience with Microsoft technologies: Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange, etc.;
- Experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting virtual environments;
- Experience with Linux system administration;
- Knowledge of Python;
- Experience with NetApp hardware and Cisco networking devices;
- Experience with IC systems accreditation DCID 6/3 and ICD 503 standards.
