Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a prestigious client who is a global leader in their field and is looking to hire an experienced and motivated Junior and Senior Systems Administrator, to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Due to Emiratisation, this position is for UAE Nationals only.
The Systems Administrator will work within the Infrastructure Support Team to provide on-going operations and maintenance support. The duties will include supporting the use of Information Technology equipment and software, setting-up administrator and service accounts, performing system tuning and diagnostics, installing system updates, backups, and maintaining system configuration/installation documentation.
In addition, this role will also deal with troubleshooting issues and develop implementation solutions and have an understanding of the role of test in ensuring delivery of mature products.
This job will require occasional domestic and international travel to remote sites, and the job may require working on weekends or evenings.

About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must be an Emirati with a Family book. The ideal candidate should be passionate, a quick learner and team-player with excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, both written and verbal. A friendly, professional and organised approach is preferred.
The technical skills required for the Senior position will include expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7+ Systems Administration, Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), Microsoft Windows (Windows 7/10, Server 2012/2016) Systems Administration, Microsoft Active Directory, Domain Level Authentication and Single Sign On (SSO), VMware ESXi, Vsan, Horizon vSphere System Administration, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Storage (NAS, SAN or similar), Shell scripting Knowledge Application Servers JBoss and Tomcat. The junior level will also need to be skilled in the above.
