Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Clinical
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy 30 hours per week
- Thorough knowledge and competent implementation of all student programs and behavior management guidelines
- Ensure all students’ safety and implement all safety procedures
- Incorporate specific objectives into context of ongoing activities (if applicable) and create opportunities for generalization and maintenance of skills
- Participate in clinical/educational meetings and trainings
- Conduct home visits and trainings with case student and family, as needed
- Monitor progress on student’s individual educational and behavioral goals
- Present regular case review at team meetings

• Case Management
- Maintain student specific notebook including data systems, program materials, and reinforcers
- Record (daily) and summarize (weekly) all student data and maintain data graphs in student notebooks
- Write quarterly progress reports and assist with annual individualized education plans
- Complete assessments as prescribed by clinical supervisors
- Regularly communicate with parents of case student and relay parent information to supervisor
- Participate in monthly management by objective (MBO) meetings with supervisor
- Participate in family clinic for case student and back up case student as appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree
• Experience working with special needs populations, preferred
• Experience using Applied Behavior Analysis, preferred
• Teaching Experience
• Fluent in English
• Arabic Preferred

In January 2010, NECC-AD joined the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC). NECC-AD provides intensive educational services utilizing the proven principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to UAE National children with autism and related disorders ages 3-9. NECC-AD is designed to replicate the comprehensive range of educational services and graduate education available in our U.S. center. Our new, world class facility is located in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, just minutes from downtown Abu Dhabi.
