Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE/MISSION:

* To conduct Customer Due Diligence Risk Review for all EDD/SDD (Risk Based) Individual customers for Retail Clients.

* To ensure quality and timely completion of all activities i.e. report extraction, review on e-BBS, MIS updation, resolution of CDD deficient case referrals.

* To manage communication with customers through letters along with follow ups in line with DOI & Group process note.

* To ensure quality in all Desktop & Triggers Reviews in order to ascertain the facts of the cases & bring it to a satisfactory conclusion in a timely manner & as per timelines prescribed in the DOI.

* To ensure activities are carried out with the maximum efficiency, security & controls & that service is provided to both internal & external customers in accordance with agreed service standards.

* Design and suggest action plans for early closure of service issues & continuous process improvements in order to enhance both processing efficiency and operational controls within CDD Ops-CB.

* Ensure compliance of AML, CDD policies & procedures in accordance with Group and Local Regulatory guidelines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensures that quality work performed during performance of Reviews. There is 0% Tolerance.

* Ensure timely review of SDD/EDD cases. 0% tolerance.

* Timely resolution of deficient cases after contacting the customer and coordinating with branch within timelines as per the DOI. Deficient cases should not be 1 % past 60 days except for asset linked cases

* Ensure that E2E MIS is prepared & maintained all time showing current status of all periodic & trigger Reviews & is readily available at any given point; MIS format must be in line with Group MIS requirements. MIS to be shared on daily/quarterly/monthly basis.

* To effectively interact, communicate & engage with all stakeholders i.e. Relationship Manager, Branch Manager, ASU, Banking Ops, GSSC Chennai, Group FCC, AML, BORMs etc to achieve the objectives of the unit.

* Ensure changes in processes are suggested after due discussions with all stakeholders or changes advised through email time to time

* To ensure proper tracking of cases through effective MIS/reconciliation of all EDD/SDD reviews.

* Proactively identifies and report inherent risks associated with CDD Ops Unit and explores ways of minimizing risk.

* Ensures that all stakeholders are updated on the sources of errors and problems (if any), and any outstanding issues which remain outstanding despite efforts so that appropriate action can be taken.

* Ensure that all service standards are maintained by the staff keeping the bank's integrity in mind.

* Ensure to coordinate with relevant users to close all open Detica AOC alerts.

* Perform independent QA for all EDD NTB clients prior to on boarding.

* Perform timely & quality reverts on all TSU referrals.

* Perform timely & quality closure of all CMR alerts generated.

* Perform timely & quality closure of all Central Bank feedback related cases.

* Perform any other activity that comes under the ambit of AML/CDD/Sanctions in RC.
