Team Leader - AF Motors - After Sales - Madinat Zayed

Due to recent expansion the After Sales division of Al-Futtaim Motors Toyota is looking for an experienced Team Leader to work in Madinat Zayed. This role will report into the Workshop Manager and will have the responsibility of 5-6 direct reports.

The job holder is required to communicate with a number of the organisational departments within the group to ensure a clear communication channel. Regular communication channels with service reception, spare parts department and the national service department will be maintained.

The team Leader will be responsible for the operation of a team of Technicians, Foreman and Quality testers to ensure the efficient distribution of the department workload to meet our customer requirements.

You will ensure that Technicians complete the required work as per the Service Schedule or Technical Instructions and you will work in close cooperation with your Team Service Advisor and Team Driver to ensure all repairs are carried out as per the time committed to the customer and to the highest quality.

You will monitor return work and identify possible trends with repairs and report all findings to the Workshop manager whilst Identify training needs for your team of technicians and coordinating with the workshop manager to implement individual training plans for each employee inclusive of a department training records.

Requirements

You will ideally hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering. You will have a minimum of three years experience within an automotive role and will have specific experience with Toyota vehicles and systems. You will preferably be a qualified Diagnostic Technician or equivalent and have experience in using the SAP system.

This is a supervisory role and therefore experience within a similar position is required, strong leadership and communication skills are essential. You will be required to make business decisions and will be responsible for managing your own time and prioritising tasks.
