Overview of the role:
We are looking for Team Leader - Air Freight. The primary responsibility is to handle end to end scope of the assigned key accounts of Air Freight portfolio including the coordination with Internal and External stakeholders in an efficient manner. Handle additional tasks such as Freight management of special movements, Exhibition shipments and ensure smooth running of the department.

What you will do:
- To manage an assigned team within Air Freight business
- Handle end to end scope of assigned key accounts including end to end scope.
- Coordination with customers for the weekly schedules
- Effective coordination with origin agents' offices & ensure timely collections & lifting to attain efficient lead times
- Liaise with Origin agents for cost effective solutions
- Verification of Pre-Alerts & Shipping documents and arrange for the timely clearances
- Coordination with destination agents for the cross trade shipments awarded by the key clients
- Maintain and submit the Trackers to assigned key accounts on the agreed intervals (Weekly / Fortnightly / Monthly)

Requirements

Required Skills to be successful:
- Experienced in Air Freight industry (Air Import & Export)
- Key account management abilities
- Should be well-versed with Pricing & procurement and bid management
- Ability to manage a team

About the Team:
Reporting to the Business Sector Manager and will work closely with the customer service and pricing team.

What equips you for the role:
- 7 - 8 years in Air Freight Industry
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, experienced in Cargowise EDI or similar TMS
- Should have thorough knowledge in Perishable movements & Pharma Cargo
- Understanding to ATA Carnet processes, Exhibition Shipment clearances
- Should be well versed with Free Zone regulations, customs processes and Incoterms
