About the Job
Lead, direct, guide and control the Mechanical Maintenance Teams to ensure that mechanical maintenance activities are budgeted, planned and implemented in the most reliable, cost effective and safe manner towards the achievement of the Team set goals.

Key Accountabilities
- Plan and supervise mechanical maintenance works
- Plan, lead, organize and manage major shutdown.
- Develop, implement and manage, in liaison with discipline Engineers and Support teams, maintenance management system as per company policy and guidelines including preventive, corrective and routine maintenance schedule and monitor its effectiveness.
- Conduct plant, equipment failure and shut down analysis, recommend and initiate corrective action as required. Apply value engineering and reliability principles to all technical assessments.
- Ensure adequate but optimum spare parts and materials are available for work in accordance with the Team's planned work.
- Periodically review the stock level of spare parts and recommend necessary actions.
- Recommend, initiate and review facility change requests for plant and equipment as per company procedure. Implement modifications or changes to improve reliability as appropriate after seeking required approvals.
- Manage and monitor the projects in liaison with the project team to ensure the conformity of contractor's work to company standards and requirements.
- Perform other similar or related duties, as required.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in an oil and gas facility with experience in leading a team
- High level of mechanical technical knowledge and application.
- Engineering data analysis and report writing skills.
- Must have good computer skills eg. MS Office, Maximo, and ERP knowledge.
- Ability to build relationships with staff and contractors with a focus on collaboration.
- Quick and sound decision making and judgment.
- Ability to engage in technical discussion and run meetings with engineers and contractors.
- High command of written and oral English language. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.
