Technical Product Owner (Digital) is an expert focusing on building a seamless customer experience across digital channels, optimising every touchpoint for Emirates Group customers. Working closely with two feature teams, you drive the backlog and oversee the implementation of various initiatives spanning across the Emirates group websites.

In addition, you will build strong relationships with key business stakeholders, aligning technical solutions with strategic objectives, and ensuring that the Emirates group websites continue to exceed customer expectations while driving business value.

You will act as the bridge between the software engineering teams and your stakeholders. You will help to define the vision of the products we create; drive the planning, prioritisation and execution of backlogs and deliver new features that support our strategic goals.

In this role, you will:

- Be a part of our Product community, focusing on collaboration cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, architecture, and business partners, and identifying opportunities of improvement and growth.
- Be able to analyse business functionality changes and determine features and stories that clearly articulate the full range of amendments/enhancements that need to be done to both vendor and in-house systems.
- Own the entire lifecycle of the Product and drive product development through your engineering and scrum teams
- Write and refine user stories, prioritise backlogs, and support sprint ceremonies
- Define detailed use cases, product requirements, and technical specs needed to support roadmap initiatives.
- Set product objectives, define success metrics and deliver business outcomes, ensuring KPIs and targets are met
- Continuously innovate and iterate as you deliver your roadmap in order to provide the best product and solutions possible
- Deliver world class user journeys that our customers value
- Document process flows to illustrate to-be states and changes to information flow.
- Conduct discoveries/feasibilities that potentially lead to RFI/RFT with the ability to manage those to conclusion with detailed vendor evaluations.
- At times be required to engage, drive and manage vendor priorities and activities pertaining to your prioritised backlog.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
This job might be for you if you have:

- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience in product ownership/management in a team-facing capacity

Experience in the following:

- Modern responsive websites
- A clear understanding of effective UI/UX design for websites and development cycle
- Ability to convert the business requirements into features and stories, and refine them with the development teams
- Ability to manage the product backlog across multiple features and teams
- Ability to apply prioritization techniques to meet the needs from different stakeholders
- MVP mindset for product development and an outcome-based delivery

- SAFe PO/PM certified is a preference
- Appetite for building and identifying value, with a customer centric mind-set.
- Well-versed with the tools for the Product Management aspects of software delivery
- Possess strong communication skills and be able to enthusiastically convey your Product Vision to stakeholders and effectively influence a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation.
- Agile and innovative mind-set with the tenacity to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing environment.
