Job description / Role
The Technical Operations department within the Toyota After Sales division of Al Futtaim Motors is looking for a Technical Support Manager. You will manage and implement Special Service Campaigns to achieve set company targets, gather and analyse product problem information and submit detailed Field Technical Reports within set EDER (Early Detection Early Resolution) targets.
You will support the dealers through encouraging EDER processes and principles, maximising sales and customer satisfaction through accurate technical support including assisting dealers with technical and customer queries and complaint resolution. You will conduct detailed research and coordinate regularly with TMC (Toyota Motor Corporation).
Requirements
You will ideally be a holder of a recognised Degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering and you will have previous experience with fixed operations CRM, project management, warranty, strategic planning, repair support and ERP implementation.
You will have a minimum of 10 years experience in Aftersales Service whilst holding experience within operations in an auto-manufacturing distributor will be an added advantage.
Excellent people management and presentation skills are essential as you will be managing a team and monitoring high-tech technician training needs and plans.
