Technical Training Manager- Industrial Machinery (P&IP) - FAMCO

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Technical Training Manager with sound knowledge in Industrial Machinery for our Power & Industrial products segment of FAMCO, the ideal individual will prepare and deliver training and staff development programs (including customer training), using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, train the trainer, meetings, conferences, and workshops to ensure industry-leading levels of product support and diagnostics. Shall be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide technical training and instruction to ensure that all distributor and company policies and procedures, operational standards and process improvement programs are complied with.
- Support the Co-ordination and monitoring of all distributors training and attend Brand/Product specific training events and cascade information obtained and prepare Principal’s online based ordering software to enable precise ordering of required products.
- Contribute to the analyzing of standard competence reports, operational noncompliance and execution of structured action plans.
- Lead the technical training team and monitor training programme content and delivery to promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: 5 years within Industrial products out of which 3 years in Technical Training or Coaching.
- Must have in-depth expertise in Industrial and portable air compressors & accessories, Generators, Lighting towers, Industrial and Marine diesel engines & propulsion systems, winch/hoist equipment & air tools.
