Techno Functional Analyst - SAP MM/PP

Job description / Role

As a Techno - functional analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the entity's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation program, acting as a bridge between their industries business and technology teams. You will collaborate closely with systems implementers, leveraging your experience in ERP systems and operations to validate or challenge proposed solutions, ensuring they align with best practices.

Description

* Collaborate closely with systems implementers and industry business stakeholders to comprehensively understand business requirements related to MM & PP processes, as well as reporting, compliance, and analysis.
* Leverage expert insights to critically assess and validate proposed solutions, drawing upon deep expertise in ERP systems and finance operations.
* Lead the validation and testing phase of the ERP transformation program, ensuring meticulous assessment of whether the configured financial processes within the ERP system align with specified business requirements.
* Ensure proposed solutions align with industry best practices, leveraging extensive experience to validate and challenge recommendations and strategies.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within MM & PP processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and efficiency enhancement within the ERP system.

Requirements

* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a closely related field
* 3 - 5 years experience working with SAP MM/PP modules
* Proven track record of successfully managing and contributing to major transformation programs within the finance domain.
* Proven ability to lead and execute financial process improvements and ERP system enhancements, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of financial operations.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to finance and ERP systems.
* Proven ability to ensure that financial processes and reporting mechanisms within the ERP system adhere to these standards
