Temporary Manager - Reporting and Compliance

Role Title: Temp Manager-Reporting and Compliance
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Joining date: Immediate
Work location: Dubai, UAE

Qualification & Certification:
• Qualified ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) /CPA (Certified Public Accountant)/ ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Minimum of 4-6 years' experience with at least 2 years’ experience at managerial level working with Financial Reporting, tools and Oracle system

Role Summary:
• The job holder will manage and oversee financial accounting and reporting function and implement financial reporting/accounting, VAT (Value Added Tax) and Corporate and control methodologies/initiatives and offer financial advice in line with the strategic objectives of the company to ensure financial control and profitability for the business.

Requirements

Job Specific Skills:
• Strong financial accounting background in General Ledger, Fixed assets Strong analytical and technical skills
• Strong technical and knowledge of taxation
• Conversant in International Accounting Standards & Practices, local laws and legislation (e.g. Tax and GST)
• VAT and refund Management
• VAT Compliance and reporting
• Problem-solving and Decision-making
• Strong team orientation, exceptional work ethic.
• Project management skills, be able to prioritize and plan
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and Oracle financial software
