TEMPORARY LEGAL ADVISOR
Maternity cover 3 months from 26 July 2015 to 26 Oct 2015
Salary AED 20,000 – 25,000

Our client is based in DIFC and is seeking a Temporary Legal Advisor to cover maternity leave.

Job Purpose
- Provide strategic legal management for the clients’ operations.
- Work effectively with the commercial side of the business balancing legal requirements with business needs and at all times mitigating risk and protecting the interests of the organisation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide expert legal advice on all local and international laws affecting our client and its operations. Seek external legal advice as required.
- Responsible for all contract reviews/drafting of contracts and insurance policy reviews.

Requirements

- Law degree from a recognised university.
- Qualified / Certified lawyer.
- Demonstrable experience of establishing and maintaining relationships at a senior level, internal and external to the organisation.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills.
- Experience of effectively managing conflict and dispute resolution situations at a senior level.
- Strong decision making and time management skills.
- Commercially aware and capable of working on a diverse range of matters whilst maintaining a continuing grasp of the Business’ long term commercial goals and the importance of achieving the same.
- Strong accounting/finance knowledge, including ability to read and understand a Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
- Experience of legal practice in a common law jurisdiction (desirable).
- Finance, Economics, Commerce or Accounting Degree or background (desirable).
- 5 years’ experience.
- US or UK qualified.
- Must reside in the UAE.
