Job description / Role
Our client, an international law firm, is currently looking for a Temporary Legal Secretary (for 3 months) to be based in their Abu Dhabi office. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material
• Answer questions and address complaints
• Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
• Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
• Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
• Check, sort and forward emails
• Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Keep updated records and files
• Monitor office expenses and costs
• Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules etc.)
• Provide legal secretary support as and when needed
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
• A high school certificate or degree holder
• With minimum 3 years of legal secretary experience, preferably gained in an international law firm
• Having a UAE experience is a must
• Currently on a relative’s visa (sponsored by Father/Mother/Brother/Sister/Husband)
• Can do the temporary assignment for 3 months starting by mid February 2020
• Willing to work from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
