Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Identify business opportunities that align with AlBaddad Business Strategy.
• Review Albaddad Business Strategy
• Develop business relationships with external parties to support responses to tenders
• Allocate opportunities to other team members to prepare responses Develop and implement strategies for winning bids
• Liaise with both internal and external parties to develop bid strategies Oversee and lead bid teams in the planning and delivery of bid submissions in line with agreed strategies
• Act as a point of contact for customers during tendering process
• Compliance with corporate governance requirements Ensure sign-off of any significant post-tender amendments by an authorized person
• Develop best practice business development processes across the Business
• Prepare bids in a timely manner, in accordance with Company procedures
• Ensure adjudication meetings are arranged and appropriate sign-off is achieved market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships
• Researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
• Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating owner's needs and goals
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
• Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
• Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

Requirements

This position will identify business opportunities that align with Al Baddad Strategy, aligned to different regions. He/She will be responsible for developing appropriate relationships with external parties to help develop opportunities and winning submissions, secure work by value and type to meet company objectives and work with the related departments to develop customer solutions and prepare responses.

The role will also involve overseeing all quality, technical and commercial aspects in accordance with company procedures, developing “best practice” systems and processes and implementing them across the other regions, whilst maintaining and building relations with them.

• Experience and demonstrated skill in supervising, performing and presenting cost control and analysis, schedule development, control and analysis, and overall project reporting activities.
• Technical knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction techniques.
• Demonstrated skill to present planning and scheduling and cost information to company management and client representatives.
• Experience in monitoring, reviewing and completing activities according to previously defined priorities.
• Risk assessment & management.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skill.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good computer knowledge.
