Territory Manager - Dubai and South Africa

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Territory Manager for Dubai and South Africa region, to establish and maintain relationships with partners in our successful global partner channel network and sell our products both directly and through our partners across the globe.

These roles will responsible for the Dubai and South Africa region and will require frequent domestic, and occasional international, travel.

The role will be based from our newly established Dubai office and will require regular interaction with colleagues in Melbourne, Australia and Seattle offices. Some flexibility on normal work hours will be required to accommodate these time zones.

Working with experienced sales and marketing teams, selling the world’s leading SharePoint add-on products, you will be responsible for increasing sales growth in our EMEA region. The core aspects of the role are Business Development, Partner Management and Territory (pipeline) Management. You will employ sales strategies and methodologies to build deep customer and Partner relationships and manage channel sales to maximise revenue in new and established markets.
- New business development – working with partners and prospects to bring new business
- Manage existing account relationships and increase customer spend through partner channels
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with new and potential partners
- Accurately report on territory activities – status reports, opportunity planning, pipeline management
- Conduct geopolitical and economic analysis of your region to understand trends and vertical markets to target in region
- Communicate this vital data to marketing to provide effective insight into field marketing and partner marketing activities
- Develop and deliver effective presentations for partners and customers
- Conduct territory analysis and regional industry trend research to provide trusted advice to customers and partners
- Meeting agreed revenue, profitability and partner growth targets

Requirements

- Experience in the Dubai and South Africa market
- Degree in IT, business or a related discipline
- Experience in sales and business development
- Knowledge of managing a territory business through partner channels
- Experience with and understanding of Microsoft business technologies, particularly within the SharePoint ecosystem
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills – great influencer, passionate about the team, loved and respected by partners and customers
- A strong sense of teamwork; motivated by helping others and knowledge sharing within the team
- A high level of trust and integrity
