Test Manager

Job description / Role

Job Description: To support the project manager in driving and implementing country and regional projects and to ensure that testing has been successfully completed within project agreed timelines, cost and scope

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Overall:
* Support programme deliverables in terms of testing preparation, execution and completion working with project team, business and technology across various locations.
* Involved in FSDs walkthrough and ensure that traceability matrix is completed for each project.
* Ensure that testing governance model is followed in accordance to Bank's standards.

Connectivity test:
* Ensure that connectivity tests are conducted and successfully completed before system integration tests kick off.
* Liaise with technology, integration services teams and GTM to achieve the above and provide regular update to project team during the project working groups.

System Integration Test
* Coordinate with GTM during SIT and ensure that scope is E2E covered from system integration test perspective.
* Ensure that SIT test strategy, Test pack address the requirements as per the traceability matrix and are signed off prior to any test kick off.
* Ensure that SIT test cases cover both functional and technical test cases.
* Attend actively SIT calls and provide regular updates to project on progress, issues and risks.

User acceptance test
* Act as a UAT lead and drive UAT from start to business sign off
* Coordinate with business users and ensure that relevant business users have completed and signed off UAT test pack prior to UAT kick off
* Coordinate with Delivery managers and GTM and ensure that all business users have relevant systems accesses prior to UAT kick off
* Schedule and run daily UAT status progress calls.
* Work with GTM and analyse DSR prior to each UAT call
* Ensure that UAT is signed off without any residual issues.
* Communicate UAT updates to project working groups and business stakeholders when required.

Requirements

* Degree or diploma qualified, ideally in a Business or Technology discipline
* Experience in technology project management, testing coordination and business analysis.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required,
* Ability to create effective work relationships across business & borders
* Focused, organised and results-oriented
* Good presentation skills and strong Excel skills -
* Proactive and positive with the ability to make good/sound decisions and use independent judgement
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Able to take ownership of issues/tasks and apply Project Management best practices
