Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

I have a well established client who is forming a new team to drive trade and enterprise into the region of Ajman.

The team will deal with queries from companies overseas wishing to invest and develop within the region and assist them through the complex process of setting up a business, offering advice, business and industry intelligence and assisting with all the relevant documents and governmental processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fully accountable for systematic selection of target geographical markets; development, documentation and management of relevant network of relationships in each market
- Proactive identification and qualification of client leads
- Client analysis, management and reporting of the lead pipeline; conversion of leads to revenue; and quality control over client on boarding processes.
- Plan and coordinate assigned regional strategies and operations to meet established goals,
- Develop new markets and expand existing ones, constantly identifying new revenue-generating opportunities.
- Assist new investor with market intelligence.
- Help them connect with prospective buyers of their product by providing industry listings
- Assist them with data regarding exports from the UAE for their product line or services offered.
- Facilitate connections with Trade bodies, Commercial attaché’s, Chamber of Commerce’s, Export Promotion councils, Consultants, Business Councils, Consulates & Embassies
- Assistance with - How to import / export procedures, Open a bank account, Applying for Import export code, Partnership with shipping and logistic companies
- Analyze market requirements and ensure that proposed product/service developments are in line with market needs.
- Initiate market studies and market development plans relevant to the region. Understand and exploit market trends, identifying market size, industry and technology trends.

Part of the role will also involve connecting with the right people to promote the business, making introductions and networking with the relevant bodies within a specific region or country and actively seeking out business opportunities and making the right links. You will also attend and perform presentations to prospective clients and it is therefore expected that there will be regular travel outside of the region with the team.

Once established the company is then handed over to the sales management team for further management and development.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration or other relevant field
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of solid experience in business development and marketing
- Strategic marketer with strong business acumen, a team player with good inter-personal skills
- Having the ability to present to large groups and individuals including clients, colleagues and management.
- Organized, detail oriented and should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- Confident, enthusiastic and having a desire to excel
- Persistent and having the ability to negotiate with professional skill and expertise.
- Having the ability to demonstrate excellent follow-up skills with clients, internal staff and management.

In addition to English, all candidates MUST possess at least one primary language fluency such as:
- German
- French
- Italian
