Our Clients regional office is recognized as a dynamic, fast growing Emerging Market; comprising twenty four countries and headquarters in Dubai.

They are part of a multinational company; an engineering technology and solutions company, responsible for developing, marketing and selling products, applications and solutions across the water, waste water industries; from Transport, Treatment, Dewatering, Aftermarket & Service and Building Water Solutions for MENA clients, consultants and contractors. Their mission is to drive sustainable and profitable growth in the served markets by executing a global strategy at a regional level for sales, marketing and support structures.

The Trade Compliance Official is responsible for creating and managing a program of trade compliance in local business to reduce risk and business exposure. A large part of the job entails processing paperwork.

The role will act as the trade and customs compliance SME and the primary reference for import, export and regulatory matters. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and disseminating thorough and current knowledge of international trade laws and regulations applicable to business activity. You will drive the implementation and governance of international trade process and policy to ensure full alignment with the international legislation pertinent to the import and export of the company's products and associated technologies.

Requirements

Minimum undergraduate degree with a minimum eight (8) years relevant industry experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders. As this is a leadership role, you must have outstanding communication skills and be able to manage under pressure.

Ability to work remotely in a global team, self-motivated and flexible - international travel will be required. Project management experience would be highly beneficial and experience working in a cross- functional or cross-cultural environment is preferred. UAE experience is preferred.
