Job description / Role
Trading & Traffic Assistant located in Dubai, Jumeirah Lakes Towers
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Traffic/Logistics/After-Sales
• Systematic follow up and monitoring of Sesame and Pulses Shipments; This involves:
• Sales/Purchase Contract Issuance in IT System and follow up with brokers/buyers/suppliers
• Follow up on payments (LC drafts, CAD payments etc.), shipping instruction and shipment status (ETB, ETA)
• Follow up on export documents (correction/approval of documents)
• Manage information flow with brokers/buyers/suppliers (answer all requests in collaboration with Trader)
• Project-related tasks
Administration
• Office Management:
• Petty cash reporting and executing recurrent payments for office and property
• Filing of contracts, copy of export documents, and trade related files
• Filing of HR related documents (Contracts, visa, DMCC requirements, property, etc.)
• Diverse other ad-hoc tasks
Requirements
• University Degree
• Experience in a commodity trading environment is a great asset
• Knowledge of export documentation and trade execution is key
• Pro-active and initiative team-player
• Keen to thrive in a fast-paced and inter-cultural environment
• Profound knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Power Point
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
