Job description / Role
• Analyzing traffic safety data and identifying trends or problem areas in the existing and proposed conditions.
• Developing, designing, and implementing traffic safety improvement schemes in the roads projects.
• Conducting traffic safety audits and inspections.
• Collaborating with RTA, ADM, public agencies, consultants, to address traffic safety concerns.
• Reviewing plans for new schemes and developments to ensure traffic safety considerations are incorporated.
• Ensuring compliance of the proposed schemes with all UAE regulations and standards, including Dubai RTA and Abu Dhabi public agencies.
• Providing technical traffic safety advice and guidance to project managers, CDM Smith senior engineers and respective stakeholders.
• Preparing and presenting to clients detailed reports on traffic safety projects and initiatives.
• Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in traffic safety technology and methodologies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Master’s Degree in Transportation engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 10 and maximum 15 years of related experience.
• Preferably the candidate should have experience in Middle East
