Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Manage the operation of the Learning and Development department
- Plan, design and facilitate the delivery of management and supervision programs & facilitate departmental training
- Develop and manage the departmental trainers to ensure that regular and consistent departmental training is delivered
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of all training programs Maintain quality standards for training
- Conduct departmental training audits
- Ensure that service standards are achieved via structured training strategies – Service Academy
- Design the necessary programs as identified in the training needs analysis
- Ensure training records are accurate and up to date
- Champion the performance management process
- Analyze the JD Powers and other measurement tools results to identify areas for improvement
- Assist in the development and management of the mentorship and succession planning programs
- To facilitate the feedback received from training programs and manage them appropriately
- Develops, researches and implements on line learning programs
- Coaches team members at all levels regarding training and development opportunities
- Attend operational meetings as needed Liaise with department heads to foster and establish healthy working relationships
- Assist in managing the cross training function
- Assist with creating and managing the training budget
- Maintain the training calendar
- Assist in managing the programs for all Management Trainees
- Assist in managing all programs as part of the Emiratisation program
- Assist in sourcing and managing e-learning programs as determined by Training Needs Analysis
- Assist in the development of Assistant training managers
- Execute any other duties as assigned by the Director of Organizational Development.

Requirements

Proven experience within a training functions, at least 6 years as a Training Manager, and with regional experience. A background in customer facing training, hospitality, retail would be beneficial.
