Emirates British Nursery, one of the leading nurseries in the UAE is looking for a Training Manager to join the team.

Emirates British Nursery was founded in Dubai in the year 2000. Since those early days the nursery has grown and developed with maintaining the underlying principle of providing the highest quality childcare and pre-school education.

The Training Manager is responsible for the training and professional development of staff at Emirates British Nursery, ensuring that all staff are trained in current best practices. As well as having an input into the curriculum development as well as the continued improvement of the nursery.
- Promote the ethos and contribute to the long term planning, growth and development of Emirates British Nursery
- Cary out a thorough induction for all new members of teaching and administrative staff
- Identify training needs in conjunction with the Headmistresses across all branches
- Lead CPD training and termly training sessions for all staff throughout the nursery on a regular basis whilst setting up and maintaining training records for staff members
- Ensure all staff are up to date with changes in the curriculum and recommendations of best practices
- Support individual staff in areas where they need further development within class practice
- Support coordinators in arranging and leading planning and assessments based on EYFS requirements
- Pastoral care for staff through informal one to one meetings and feedback sessions
- Leading parental engagement sessions on subjects of interest e.g. transitions, curriculum etc.
- Any other duties as required by the Area Headmistress

Reporting to: Area Headmistress

Requirements

- CACHE Level 3, necessary.
- CACHE Level 5 desirable.
- A degree is desirable.
- Experience of a training role is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills dealing at all levels.
- Confident public speaker.
- Ability to motivate, lead and encourage a management team.
- Positive attitude and outlook.
- Professionally discreet and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and current best practice.
- High level of commitment and loyalty.
- Effective planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Capability of working on own initiative.
