Training Operations Manager, MENAP

This role is to develop, implement and monitor current and new processes and policies to support the Academy and all the training that happens there as well as the training in-market. It is to facilitate and manage resources, finances, suppliers for the Training Academy and relationships in Regional Office, the UK and the markets.

Key Objective:
- Manage the operational aspect of new Product Launch Training and new Dealer Launch Training for the MENA market.
- Manage the day to day operations of the Academy and Hub Markets maintaining processes that ensure the correct equipment and supplies to carry out training.
- Organise and coordinate events for Training and Network Development inline with the JLR Brand.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Academy
- Manage running of the day to day operations at the Academy ensuring that inventory is controlled within budget.
- Maintain the necessary stock levels required for the Academy so that training runs efficiently and smoothly.
- Ensure that stock is audited on a quarterly basis in conjunction with the Technical and Non-Technical Training Managers.
- Manage and co-ordinate the maintenance of the Academy to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety.
- Manage the Academy vehicle fleet and maintaining a record of usage, servicing and de-fleeting.

Suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers so that best value and quality is gained.
- Coordinate with Purchasing Department to ensure all policies and procedures are followed for suppliers.

Training Operational Support
- Responsible for the operational management for new vehicle launch training in conjunction with the Technical and Non-Technical Training Managers.
- Responsible for the operational management of new Retailer Launch Training in-market with the Technical and Non-Technical Training Managers.

Communication
- Liaise regularly with markets on operational issues.
- Communicate and liaise regularly with JLR internal departments keeping them informed of upcoming training launches and training events.

Finance
- Raise Purchase Orders on time and track the payment of invoices to suppliers.
- Track the Academy Training spend and work with the Training Academy Manager to ensure finances are kept in order with no over spend.

People
- Manage the LMS Administrator and Training Coordinator on a day to day basis.
- Coach, mentor and support staff to achieve the desired results.
- Work with the Training Academy Manager to determine the people requirements for operations while maintaining a balance between internal and external employees.

Other Responsibilities
- Organise the yearly Trainer Conference in conjunction with the Training Academy Manager.
- Assist with the set up and running of events for Network Development.

Requirements

- Experienced operations manager of at least 5 years in training or events.
- Training, Administration or Project Management qualification preferred.
- Arabic would be an advantage.
