Job description / Role
- Carryout detailed land transport hazard identification and risk assessment in view to implement a comprehensive road transport safety management system through the development of applicable manuals, policies, and procedures.
- To act as focal point for all transport and driving issues for ADNOC Distribution through the establishment of a structure that will support monitoring of drivers performance and organizing regular checks of company’s fleet as per the applicable regulatory requirements.
- Sound in-depth knowledge of global findings and directions in transport/road safety strategies and action plans, particularly in the engineering, regulatory, enforcement, monitoring & evaluation, planning, education, communication and advocacy aspects.
- Significant experience within transport safety is imperative for this role.
Requirements
- Must have extensive experience in Petroleum Industry.
- Sound knowledge of international HSSE codes and standards and best practices pertaining to bulk oil and gas industry, and with sound knowledge of laws and practices in Environment, Health and Safety with emphasis on Transport/Road Safety.
