Employment: Full Time

Our client a leading banking in the UAE is on the lookout for a treasury business analyst whos experienced with Murex

The Treasury Business Analyst is responsible for providing support for Treasury (TFO, TMO, and TBO), Market Risk, and Finance in implementing, analyzing and translating their functional requirements into the different treasury systems used.

The role consists mainly in configuring changes, coordinating the testing cycles, and overseeing the promotion of changes to production

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Business Analysis:
- Gather and analyze all the business requirements for new products implementation or for changes in existing products configuration.
- Provide Business Analysis expertise for treasury by ensuring that the integration of new products and changes in Murex integrates fully and correctly with the other treasury systems.

Project Tracking:
- Act as the main point of contact during UAT testing for Murex changes.
- Coordinate with IT to promote changes in Murex in a timely manner and in accordance with the quality review process.
- Write functional documentation highlighting the impact of changes in Murex.
- Provide training to users from the different business units on a regular basis.
- Drive the NPA process by scheduling meetings with the different stakeholders, following up on the project time lines and deliveries.

System Configuration:
- Responsible for change control and any required configuration management for Murex in accordance with departmental processes and procedure.

Vendor Relations:
- Liaise with the different vendors for implementation of all treasury requirements.
- Participate bi-weekly on the cases review with Murex ensuring that fixes are delivered in a timely manner for all change requests.

Business Alignment:
- Schedule weekly meetings with the different team managers to review their requirements, to report the progress on the open cases, and set up a delivery plan taking into account the severity of the reported cases and their priorities to the different business units involved.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree required with emphasis on Computer Science or similar
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in the financial services industry.
- Solid knowledge of treasury products with emphasis on accounting, workflows, collateral management
- Ability to write functional documents, and deliver training to users.
- Autonomous team member with good project management skills.
- Experience in implementing systems in treasury, Murex experience is required.
