Employment: Full Time

- To create, manage and deliver repeat business from a portfolio of corporate client relationships with the aim of improving market share, expanding penetration of client wallet and ensuring the success of the Bank's holistic driven approach to cross asset Global Markets transactions. Understand complex client requirements and promote a "one Treasury & Global Markets" solution based approach. Leverage existing relationships on other product desks, be a senior T&GM Sales team members and display a teamwork driven attitude for the benefit of the business as a whole.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate relationships to ensure delivery of profitability in the medium term from both flow & derivative business that will meet & exceed budgets set. Ensure that future revenue contributions are protected through best practice professional coverage, delivery of technical expertise as required and a focus on building high quality relationships with clients. Maintain an emphasis on quality and repeat revenue streams with all risks minimised.
- Promote a "one Treasury & Global Markets" approach with knowledge across asset classes when driving the acquisition of new strategic clients and strengthening existing relationships. Maintain an evolving list of new client potential, with clear milestones established to maximise closing rates and exceed client expectations.
- Lead both the Sales component of eCommerce and growth in cross asset Derivatives activity and establish it as a significant contributor to annual profitability. Work closely with Structuring & Trading to deliver competitive client pricing and ensure that the complexities of products offered to clients are clearly understood.
- Design and operationalise a framework for identifying key decision makers and their buying criteria across the client portfolio, for implementation post approval by the Head of Abu Dhabi Sales. Act as a key advisor to other Sales team members and Wholesale Banking Relationship Management to embed the framework into cross product client planning and determine annual client revenue potential, with all hurdles to business clearly addressed.
- Manage the cross asset Sales process for all clients within the portfolio, demonstrating clarity in taking new opportunities from origination to closure. Ensure that this process is closely aligned with other Abu Dhabi team members and documented via pipeline. Monitor all derivative transactions post-closing for valuation and potential restructuring purposes.
- Understand and provide inputs to the Risk framework supporting T&GM solutions from a client relationship management perspective to ensure constant improvement of the framework to minimize risk, improve product quality and enhance customer orientation and service.
- Minimise documentation risk, working closely with the Structuring Desk for all Term Sheets required to document transaction details during the sales process and prior to transaction execution. Ensure all Term Sheets contain full disclosure of transactional risks and scenario analysis.
- Build strong relationships with all internal stakeholders in the delivery of cross asset solutions to clients, including Legal, Risk Management, Operations and Credit. Own the commercial negotiation of all documentation.
- Monitor client trends in product appetite and work closely with Structuring and Trading to deliver appropriate solutions and supporting analysis, with client objectives clearly stated and addressed by the product offering.
- Propose credit limits as required and in the prescribed format. Ensure that the Relationship Management function is appropriately appraised of all aspects surrounding the need for limits and provide additional information if necessary.
- Stay abreast of developments across all financial markets as the basis for pro-actively updating clients and responding to any specific enquiries. Display a professional, knowledgeable and service driven approach at all times, delivering to deadlines set and contributing to brand development.
- Monitor activity across client portfolios managed by other members of the Abu Dhabi Sales team to further promote the "one Treasury & Global Markets” approach and ensure uninterrupted service levels during absences.
- Offer input into the short and medium strategic direction of the Abu Dhabi Sales business. Focus on operationalising the strategic initiatives from a marketing and product perspective to support sales. Suggest, structure and execute improvements in operational processes and procedures that will increase efficiency.
- Take on additional assignments/responsibilities that may arise from time to time as required by the department/Bank.

Requirements

- At least 7 years’ experience, with significant exposure to Global Markets & Sales.
- Degree plus MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
- Strong mathematical background.
