Turnaround Planning and Execution Section Head

Job description / Role

Oil Refining Company in the UAE are currently seeking a Turnaround Planning and Execution Section Head. The company`s areas of operation include the refining of crude oil and condensate, supply of petroleum products and production of granulated Sulphur in compliance with domestic and international specifications.

As T/A Planning and Execution Section Head, you will plan, direct, manage and control the day-to-day operations of Turnaround Planning Section, while supervising the planning, preparation, scheduling and cost control of all turnaround activities in the Division while coordinating and participating in the development of contractual scope of work for the execution of plant turnaround ensuring all plant facilities and equipment`s are always in top operational condition, in line with overall client maintenance plans and in accordance with approved budgets.

Communications and Working Relationships:

Internal;
- Has daily contact with various plant Departments` personnel up to Manager level; to discuss, arrange and coordinate day-to-day operational requirements.
- Has a daily contact with Technical Services, Maintenance, Safety and Fire, Procurement, Budget and cost control personnel and other Departments to provide overall coordination of work.

External;
- Has regular contact with OPCOS and other stakeholders to exchange information and coordination at equal level.
- Frequent contact with Engineering Companies, Equipment Suppliers/Vendors, Technology Solution Providers, etc., to exchange views on issues related to refinery operations.

Requirements

- University degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 Years` experience in Maintenance Planning, Turnaround planning and execution in an oil and gas or petrochemical industry, of which 4 years should have been in a senior supervisory level.

Skills:
- Excellent Communication and Management skill
- Fluent in English language both written and spoken.
- Excellent leadership and Team building skills.
- High level of competency in use of Computers.
