Job description / Role
We are recruiting for a global accountancy firm. Our client is adding a UAE National to their team – this is a trainee position, where you will learn on the job. Candidates should want to work in a dynamic environment where you can grow quickly.
Responsibilities
• Learn from the Supervisors how to undertake internal audits on behalf of the clients.
• Visit clients’ sites
• Implement best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit statements.
• Learn to manage resources and audit assignments.
• Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.
• Develop, implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice
• Assist in compiling and implementing the annual Internal Audit plans for clients.
• Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks
• Assist with risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.
Requirements
• UAE National
• Finance Graduate with a keen interest in audit
• Understanding of internal control financial reporting, COSO framework, SOX, governance and compliance.
• Team player
• Strong English communication skills
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
