Unified Communications Engineer - Al Futtaim Technologies - Dubai, U.A.E.

As an Engineer - Unified Communication solutions you will be responsible to install and maintain latest voice technology solutions including value added applications like unified messaging based on Avaya product portfolio. Installing, testing & commissioning of voice solutions & unified communication at customer sites as per agreed project plan. Analyze the problems at customer site to meet the SLA timelines and first time resolution target. Lead the solution delivery activity when deputed as responsible for service delivery of specific project.

This role will be based in Dubai. You will report to the Head - Technical Services.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting role, you should have a Bachelors Degree specialised in Electronics / Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science. Avaya Professional Credentials and Certifications: ACIS, ACSS in Avaya Aura® Communication Manager, Avaya Aura® Call Center Elite, Avaya Aura® Session Manager and System Manager are an asset.

You should have minimum 5+ years extensive hands on expertise with maintaining, operating, troubleshooting the Avaya, Nortel, and related subsystems. Of which a minimum 2 years of experience in leading the IP Telephony project solution delivery activity at customer site. Expertise in - Avaya Aura Unified Communications, Messaging, Contact Center, Avaya Aura® Workforce Optimization, Avaya Scopia® Video Conferencing and Avaya IPO. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an asset.

Along with previous experience you must have knowledge and understanding of industry trends and technical innovations and their impact on managing customer business requirements. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritize tasks, and keep abreast of the latest technology. An excellent customer service attitude and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner are required.
