Job description / Role
As the Vendor Manager for Watches you will be responsible for developing and owning the strategy for the category at Souq. Building strong long-term vendor partnerships will be a key component of this role along with category profitability, growth and product selection all while improving the customer experience.
You will have experience in buying, marketing, and/or finance, with a solid record of successful relationship management, strong analytical skills, and experience in generating and managing reporting. Sound communication skills and understanding of Excel will be essential to your success. As a self-starter you will take ownership of projects and business problems and push forward to achieve successful results.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of experience in buying,brand management, marketing, supply chain, or relevant area such as Retail
• 2+ years of experience using Excel to analyze data to support decision making
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results.
• Strong multi-tasking ability and experience with meeting multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with vendor, client, or customer-facing experience.
• Experience in a buying, marketing, supply chain role and/or finance.
