Employment: Full Time

A luxury retail group based in Dubai is seeking a VM Manager for one of their home furnishing brands. This role is responsible for heading up the VM team and ensuring visual standards are in place in stores across the GCC. We are seeking someone who is influential and has a strong presence in the organization and stores. Experience working with luxury furnishings is essential, as well as previous experience with people management and development.

Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising/Merchandising:
* Proactive involvement in the process of understanding and ensuring that the latest / fresh trends are implemented in the stores.
* Support to ensure that visual merchandising standards are in place.
* Provide a facilitators role in resolving the merchandising matters
* Provide support to the Visual Merchandisers to apply their creativity within the given parameters.

Customer Service:
* Ensure excellent customer service at all times through proper execution of company's policies related to customer service.
* Collection, collation and documentation of feedback from customers on Interior Design Services rendered.

Day-to-Day Operations:
* Providing Interior Design Services to customers through In Store and Home Consultation
* Providing in-store consultancy to the customers for making a purchase decision.
* Ensure Cost Effective Transactions in the projects undertaken.
* Ensuring that all required reports are completed on their specified deadlines and action is taken based on the outcome of the analysis of the reports.
* Up to date documentation of Interior design services rendered in the form of photographs, layout drawings, cost sheets etc.
* Creating a knowledge sharing forum for the Visual Merchandisers to discuss and keep abreast of latest developments in the field.

Team Building, Training/Development:
* Provide necessary direction and feedback to the associates on merchandising issues.
* Educate associates on maximising business opportunity through the effective merchandising.

Requirements

* Previous VM Managerial experience heading up a team
* Experience working within home furnishings
* Holds a university degree
* Strong communication still both orally and written
* Ability to develop relationships with both retail staff and stakeholders
* Decision making skills
* Business development experience - identifying opportunities to increase brand revenue
* Proactive business approach.
