VP - Corporate Strategy

Job description / Role

Our client, an international luxury hotel chain, are seeking an individual to lead their Corporate Strategy function.

- Formulate the strategy that will successfully deliver the business goals in the short, medium and long-term
- Lead the identification of strategic investments and divestments opportunities.
- Ensure that the Group’s portfolio maintains a highly profitable and healthy diversification mix and is aligned to the Group’s and Shareholder’s desired risk return profile.
- Lead the formalization and research of potential strategic initiatives.
- Engage in developing the business model diversification, geographical expansion.
- Lead the communication of the corporate strategy through various communication channels and tools.
- Design and implement a group-wide strategic planning cycle and provide consistent performance management for all business functions.
- Lead the strategy execution and monitor and assess the achievement of targets versus set KPIs.
- Create and lead the group's change management agenda.
- Lead the development and implementation of Corporate Strategy function policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or similar from a leading international institution.
- 10 years experience as a minimum, preferably with a leading international luxury hospitality business or recognised blue-chip company.
- International experience and an understanding of the cultural and market differences of the Middle East.
- A strong understanding of the hospitality industry's investment dynamic.
- In-depth knowledge of strategy design and implementation.
- Strategy formulations, cost modelling, change management and financial analysis.
