Our client is one of the Middle East’s largest and most advanced investment management institutions.

Pioneering and disruptive technology strategies are critical as fintech helps to augment IOT and AI based financial trading, investment and back office reconciliations supported by advanced IT infrastructure architectures.

With the right technology being so essential comes the need to develop and implement sophisticated IT procurement and category management strategies.

This is not about quick wins and buying cheap. It is about developing long term sustainable supplier partnerships and category strategies commensurate with acquiring the very best IT and Digital solutions thereby creating enterprise wide competitive advantage.

Requirements

The ideal candidates will have global IT procurement and strategic category experience from world-wide organizations with a high dependency on critical IT.

Preference will be given to candidates coming from complex procurement environments in financial institutions but other industry sectors can be considered.

Middle East and Emerging market experience is desirable but not essential. Above all the successful candidates will have excellent relationship management skills with internal stake holders as well as suppliers. MCIPS or equivalent qualifications are essential in addition to a demonstrable track record of building cohesive procurement teams to handle IT spend of over several hundred million USD.
