Waitress and Cashier

Job description / Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our Food and beverage team as Waitresses. The successful candidates will play a key role in providing excellent customer service to our guests. This position includes accommodation provided for hotel staff.

Job Description:
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Provide menus, take orders, and offer recommendations when requested.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to tables.
• Familiarize yourself with the menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Answer customer questions about the menu and make recommendations.
• Stay informed about any special promotions or menu changes.
• Set and reset tables according to standard operating procedures.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area.
• Assist in maintaining a neat and organized appearance in the front-of-house.
• Input customer orders accurately into the point-of-sale system.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure prompt preparation and delivery of orders.
• Check orders for accuracy before serving them to guests.
• Engage with customers politely and professionally.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
• Promptly address and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
• Collaborate with kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to optimize service efficiency.

Salary:
AED 2,500 to 3,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
