Warehouse and Logistics Executive

Job description / Role

Our client, a leading Media Production Company, is looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Executive to join their team in Dubai, based in the warehouse in an offsite location.

- Oversee the day-to-day warehouse activities.
- Inspect and ensure that every inbound and outbound shipment received meets the set requirements.
- Interact and follow up with 3PL staff ensure SLA maintenance
- Track and monitor all customer orders movements from delivery to returns including Quality Assurance and Service Level
- Ensure effective planning, coordination and execution of warehouse operations.
- Manage inventory related activity in warehouse (inbound and outbound)
- Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene and health standards/procedures.
- Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Respond to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone
- Check and verify shipping records, handling questions or concerns of shipping shortages or overages and addressing any problems with inventory control.
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse equipment/ supplies
- Maintain a clear status of the damaged stock and replacement when possible
- Manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control process for all inbound and outbound inventory movement.
- Interact with staff on related responsibility and ensure SLA maintenance.
- Weekly stock count for random stock keeping units to verify sock count accuracy
- Adhoc tasks requested by Head Office.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ of experience in similar role from a retail background
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
- Must have strong work ethics
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure to meet objectives and deadlines
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexible and adaptable with a “can do” attitude
