Warehouse Supervisor

We are recruiting this candidate for a role in a new e-commerce company based in Al Mina, Dubai. This e-commerce company will be dealing in office supplies, school supplies, pantry supplies and cleaning supplies. We are launching in few days and target customers are households and offices in Dubai. The warehouse is in Al Quoz Industrial Area 1.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Bar coding of all items and set up of bar-coding system
- Set up of warehouse with racks, CCTV, material handling equipment
- Analysis of Inventory movement and Prepare reports
- Work with the transport company to ensure on time and on budget deliveries
- Supervise the labourer and all warehouse movement
- Supervise packing of orders
- Keeping track of production and expiry dates of goods in a database and accordingly dispatching goods via FIFO system
- Thorough Knowledge of food code, trained in food safety and PIC certified trained
- Handled food items in the past
- Handling inbound and outbound movement of goods and all documentation
- Prior experience of using Quick books online
- Compensation is AED 3,250/month
- Salary can be increased in the future based on company performance.
- Performance based bonus of 1 month salary is applicable if the annual sales target is met by the team

Salary:
AED 3,250 to 3,300 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Visa, Health Insurance, Free Membership from CGT ecommerce website. This membership would lead to savings when purchasing cleaning, stationery and pantry items from the company store. Performance based bonus of 1 month salary is applicable if annual sales

Requirements

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of prior work experience in a similar role
- Arabic Speaking is a plus
- Driving License and Car is a plus
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from an accredited college (Attested degree certificate will be required)
- English speaking
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and comfortable with using technology
- Reference letter from previous employer would be a plus
- Currently based in UAE
- Any nationality/gender can apply
- Probation period 6 months

The warehouse manager will be based at the warehouse in Al Quoz Industrial Area 1 from Saturday-Thursday 8:30am – 6pm.
- One Labourer will be under the warehouse manager’s supervision.
- The labourer will pack goods into the warehouse, pull goods out and pack them for deliveries.
