Web Analytics Analyst - Abu Dhabi

The have spent millions of dollars on their Digital Marketing, Technology and Web Development inhouse teams and infrastructure, where they look to bring on board the best and brightest professionals in the world.

The Web analytics position is ideal for a self-motivated individual that is passionate about data – has 3+ years experience working with web analytics reporting including implementation, mining and interpreting data for online marketing campaigns, monitoring and analyzing key metrics, providing insights about performance data and highlighting how reporting data aligns with defined business goals and metrics.

- Lead digital marketing measurement and optimization activities, using disciplined digital marketing and website analytics best practices.
- Gather and analyze traffic to the website, customer behavior, different sources driving the traffic, funnel conversions, etc.
- Ensure tagging specs aligns with identified business objectives, ensuring that all required performance data could be reliably tracked and reported.
- Assist in the development of business requirements to capture web analytics data
- Work with web development team to UAT newly implemented tags to ensure tags are implemented properly during the code release process.
- Establish digital marketing success KPIs/metrics and ensure appropriate coding and tagging has been implemented within associated tooling to allow for the collection of all required data within the lead conversion spectrum.
- Develop reports, dashboards and scorecards that effectively present digital marketing, demand generation, and website metrics, accompanied by analysis of the included data and recommendations for optimization activities.
- Work across the Marketing organization to craft targeted strategies that leverage insights learned from analysis of key digital marketing metrics.
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate testing programs to optimize website, content, and demand generation campaign tactic performance.
- Develop documentation on measurement methodology and reporting processes to ensure continuity and consistency of marketing analytics program.
- Optimize business unit’s marketing efforts by developing effective test plans, hypotheses, research questions and testable solutions
- Develop processes and procedures for marketing team end-users to facilitate the efficient use of reporting tools and applications.
- Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests for web performance analysis from internal stakeholders and web project teams
- Continuously identify opportunities to modify reporting and analytic strategies to better meet the needs of the business
- Provide proactive insights based on regular analyses and inquiries for performance against business objectives
- Be a subject matter expert on all matters related to site analytics

Requirements

- Technical understanding of website architecture and knowledge of web basics such as HTML,PHP, JavaScript, and URL structures
- At least three years of hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, and Google Tag Manager.
- Detail oriented with proven analytical, problem identification and resolution skills
- Ability to organize, present, and explain complex data in a clear manner to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrable experience presenting recommendations in a clear and concise way that effectively “tells a story" with data.
- Strong critical thinking skills; able to understand goals and objectives of web products and projects and provide recommendations regarding how to using web metrics, customer feedback and market or industry benchmarks to monitor success towards goals and objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related areas of study, or equivalent work experience required.
- 3+ years of experience in a role that required critical analysis resulting in data-driven recommendations for digital marketing, demand generation, website or ecommerce channel optimizations.
- Familiarity with marketing automation processes and tools such as Marketo and Salesforce is a plus.
- Solid understanding of A/B and multivariate testing, user segmentation and reporting processes.
- Self-directed with an ability to work both independently and cross-functionally essential, given a dispersed global marketing organization.
- Strong passion for digital media and emerging technologies with a solid understanding of trends within web analytics, ecommerce, search marketing, email marketing mobile and social media.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including the use of macros, pivot tables and other advanced features).
- Superior written, oral communication and presentation skills with experience communicating effectively with all levels of management.
- Easily picks up new technology; analytical problem-solver; creative thinker; strong communicator.
