Job description / Role
. Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
. Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain machines by applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures.
. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools.
. Produce metal products according to specifications.
· Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
Requirements
· Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in welding and construction.
· A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
· Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tool
· Ability to convey and communicate effectively.
· Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures
