Workshop Team Leader - Automall

Job description / Role

We are looking to hire a Workshop Team Leader, who will be part of our After Sales Department reporting to the Service Manager.

Below are the following key responsibilities but not limited to:
- To handle aftersales customer concerns and resolve effectively to achieve maximum customer satisfaction as per Al Futtaim standards. Update Customer Concern Management System within set time by contacting the customers, follow up on jobs and deliver in time to ensure customer retention for business development.
- To distribute the daily appointments to the appropriate member of staff in a fair and efficient manner.
- To assign the duties of the quality tester on a daily basis to ensure they are efficiently utilized.
- To ensure constant communication with the spare parts department for pending parts and pre picked parts.
- To Compile and submit the Quality control report and submit to the Service manager on a weekly basis as well as more than 3 days WIP
- To ensure consistent communication and updates to the service reception on the vehicle status.
- Identify department training needs and coordinate with the Service manager to implement individual training plans for each employee inclusive of a department training records

Requirements

- A Degree/ Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years experience in similar role within a reputable automotive dealership
- Strong English Communication skills
- Monitoring/Assessing performance of self, other individuals, or organisations to make improvements or take corrective action
- Strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with administrative competence vital for this role.
- Basic computer literate is must.
- An enthusiastic, flexible and positive attitude towards providing an excellent service to our customers
- Ability to handle high level of activity
- Ability to remain focused on the set monthly targets, self-driven to achieve and provide good results
