Fabrication Yard Operations Manager - United Arab Emirates - Offshore/Onshore Projects

- Responsible for leading the operations between two Fabrication yard sites and ultimately will be responsible for the functional and practical usability of both locations for small to medium scale EPC, Lump-sum, fabrication, construction, Rig repair and Maintenance projects including tool shop and spares support services.
- Responsible for ensuring that all available resources are operationally ready for multiple work streams simultaneously during project execution and completion phases.
- Ensure that available machinery and mechanical assets are employed effectively on projects and that upkeep and maintenance of all plant hire is conducted for all project teams and workshops managers to be able to utilize on projects.
- Coordinate resources between both sites and ensure schedules are run efficiently.
- Responsible for upkeep of the yard sites and ensure that all necessary maintenance works to the dockside, yard sites, workshops and yard entrances are in keeping with the needs of the project portfolio
- Report to the Senior Directors and manage a team of Site and Workshop Managers including a Yard Managers and subcontractor representatives during project phases

Requirements

Fabrication Yard Operations Manager will be required to provide operational oversight between two yard sites and will report to the senior team providing P/L accounting on all programs of work relating to fabrication and utilization of the venues.

This will include commercial aspects of 3rd party teams and subcontractor resources being seconded to the facilities under management.

Experience required:
- 15 years in Fabrication
- 10 years in Offshore marine fabrication/project management
- Marine Fabrication, Construction, Maintenance and rig repair projects
- 5 years in charge of manufacturing, fabrication, steel construction and installation yard site in a GCC country
- EPC contractor experience
- Oil & Gas
