Job description / Role

Employment: Contract

• Implement, review and communicate evacuation procedures for zones as per the pavilion Emergency Response Plan.
• Responsible for monitoring the area for any behavior that may be detrimental to visitors and staff and report to the Operation Control Room (OCR).
• Respond to any communication or requests from OCR.
• Manage the crowd management team and volunteers in the respective zone and ensure a smooth and safe operation in the pavilion.
• Assist the crowd management supervisor in their daily operation routine.
• Be the main point of contact for any operational questions and queries in the dedicated zones.
• Maintain smooth operations for the Pavilion and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Constant contact with the Crowd Management Supervisor and be ready to react immediately in case of emergency and get other parties involved (ex. Safety/Security Manager, Medical Representative on-site, etc.) when necessary.
• Responsible for the operation clearance of the designated area after the pavilion-closing hour.
• Administer crowd control and queuing management.
• Support the operation control room in controlling the capacity of the pavilion zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role, previous experience in managing major events or with specific experience related to crowd management.

Required Skills
• Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
