Conveyance Engineer

Conveyance Engineer - Warrington, UK

The role is to be involved in a joint venture to provide support to the Water Business Group on a programme of works:
- Review of design developments in general with regard to compliance with the hydraulic specification
- Periodic updating of specifications and documents depending on the hydraulic specification, such as the System Design Report, for consistency
- Analysis of system and control mechanisms necessary to limit transient responses to acceptable parameters
- Support in the analysis of contractor proposals for design change / optimisation / rationalisation
- Support in the analysis of contractor proposals and their impact on risks / impacts on the performance of the existing sewerage system, with particular regard to sewer flooding
- Support in response to Client / governance challenges to hydraulic proposals

Requirements

- Degree in Civil engineering or related subjects
- Preference for higher degree with specialisation in hydraulics
- Member of relevant professional organisations
- Eligibility to work in the EU
