Job description / Role
• As a Manager of Finance & Operations, you will be a pivotal part of our start-up team, contributing to multiple roles within the organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Finance & Operations Management: Overseeing finance, accounting, HR, and operational functions including monthly financial reporting, budget management, and month-end close processes.
• Coordinating annual audits and managing tax processes.
• Accounting Functions: Handling all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining meticulous records.
• HR Management: Leading recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and overseeing payroll operations.
• Client-Facing Consultancy: Working directly with clients to integrate and optimize our financial solutions into their operations, defining requirements for BI/AI solutions, and ensuring project success.
• Marketing and Operations: Managing CRM databases, marketing outreach, and operational improvements.
• Cultural Leadership: Working alongside the CEO to promote and enforce the company culture, focusing on achieving rapid growth and high performance.
• Legal and Marketing Duties: Handle client and HR contract creation and oversee marketing initiatives.
• Product and Process Development: Use your expertise in finance/accounting to support product development and define company processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. An MBA or other master's degree is highly valued.
• CPA certification in Lebanon is a significant advantage.
Experience:
• At least two years in accounting or finance roles preferred, though outstanding recent graduates will be considered.
• Experience in managing company operations, HR functions, business consulting, and audit processes is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and familiarity with other financial software.
Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a start-up environment where multi-tasking and broad skills are essential.
• Proactive and can-do attitude towards work, with a willingness to take on tasks beyond the traditional financial roles.
