Strategic Development Manager - Wet Utilities

SAS Global are currently seeking experienced utilities engineering professionals who have been involved with the delivery of utilities from the concept/master planning phase to work on one of the largest infrastructure programs the Middle East has ever awarded.

This is a long term opportunity working amongst some of the brightest engineering and construction delivery professionals from across the world.

Responsibilities:
• Managing, monitoring and reporting of the projects master planning, development and design engineering.
• Establishing a strong working relationship with clients and key stakeholders and ensure that all approvals are in place to meet schedule dates, as well as understanding regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Developing the delivery strategy guiding the design management of major wet utilities, from master planning/development to design and delivery.
• Review and update the programs Master Plans.
• Ensure the efficiency and quality of the construction work to meet program objectives and in budget.
• Ensure correct implementation of the program governance, stakeholder management, coordination, specifications and standards.
• Maintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that all work is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Supporting the Client in coordinating with governmental departments such as municipalities to ensure the alignment of their projects with their expansion plans.

Salary:
SAR 50,000 to 60,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Minimum 20 years post graduate experience.
• Must have worked on major utilities/infrastructure related projects.
• Must be degree qualified from a western university in Engineering or Construction related field.
• Experience working for consultants or developers.
• Experience with Engineering Management of utilities from design development to construction.
• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken.
