Our client, a globally recognized industry leader with a prominent presence in Saudi Arabia, is in search of a skilled External Reporting Lead to join their esteemed team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and compliant external reporting, contributing significantly to the organization's financial transparency and integrity.

Job Overview:

The External Reporting Lead will spearhead the company's external reporting initiatives, overseeing the preparation and submission of financial reports to regulatory authorities and stakeholders. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, and effective collaboration across various departments.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
- Lead the preparation and compilation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather financial data and ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.

Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and accounting standards, ensuring the organization's adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory inquiries and maintain compliance with reporting obligations.

External Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders regarding financial reporting matters.
- Facilitate the resolution of inquiries and provide necessary documentation to support external reporting activities.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of external reporting processes, implementing best practices to streamline workflows.
- Lead initiatives to automate and standardize reporting procedures, leveraging technology to optimize reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Team Leadership:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the external reporting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members to support their professional development.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Extensive experience in external reporting within a multinational or large-scale organization, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial reporting principles and regulations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and collaborating across departments and organizational levels.
- Proficiency in relevant financial reporting software and ERP systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements and business practices is advantageous.
