KBR employs approximately 34,000 people worldwide (including our joint ventures), with customers in more than 80 countries, and operations in 40 countries.<br><br>Job Purpose: <br><br>The Commissioning Lead-I&C will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning activities related to Instrumentation and Control systems on the BP_ROO_EPCM project in Basra, Iraq. The individual will ensure that all I&C systems are properly tested, commissioned, and integrated into the overall project.<br><br>Job Responsibilities: <br> - Develop commissioning plans and procedures for I&C systems in coordination with the project team.<br> - Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure proper installation and testing of I&C systems.<br> - Supervise a team of commissioning technicians and engineers.<br> - Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on site.<br> - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process.<br> - Ensure that all I&C systems meet project specifications and standards.<br> - Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams as needed.<br> - Working knowledge of Completions systems, ideally GOC (QEDI Go Completions)<br> - Rotating equipment large and small experience essential<br> - Knowledge of process systems, piping, materials, alignments, and working practices<br> - Experience in Water treatment plants in addition to Oil & Gas would be an advantage.<br><br>Skills: <br> - Strong knowledge of Instrumentation and Control systems<br> - Experience in commissioning FEED, Design, onshore, Brownfield, and Construction Site projects.<br> - Good Communication in English and leadership skills.<br> - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.<br> - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills<br><br>Qualifications: <br><br> Mandatory : Educated to Diploma level with professional qualifications and accreditation relevant to the role.<br><br> Preferred : Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution<br> - 20 years of overall experience and minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning I&C systems<br> - Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.<br><br>Work Environment: <br><br>The Commissioning Lead - Instrument & Control will work on-site at the project location in Basra, Iraq. The work environment may involve exposure to construction sites, industrial equipment, and hazardous materials.
