Job description / Role
Director of Facilities - FM Service Provider – Dubai, UAE
Our client is an established and leading Dubai based FM Service Provider. They are currently seeking a Director of Facilities Management to join their team.
Scope:
• The Director - Facilities Management will oversee the function of Total Facilities Management, leading all service lines including but not limited to the Facilities Management, Home maintenance, Kitchen Maintenance, Pest control and the Landscaping divisions.
• To ensure cost effective and timely delivery of contractual obligations and service provisions, ensuring quality standards and all Health and safety requirements are met or exceeded and all policies are complied with in close liaison with the CEO.
• The role is required to drive the financial performance of the division and reporting of financial performance, along with strategic improvement objectives in line with the business strategy; in addition to promoting positive employee relations and a culture of continuous improvement, with willingness to change and adapt.
The key areas of job responsibility focus on: Financial, Customer Service, Process, and Innovation.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
• 10-15 years of experience in the facilities management industry, including 3-5 years in a similar position in a leadership role
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within the GCC
• Experience in project delivery within CAFM
• Financial acumen as it relates to budgeting, and profit & loss activities
